Successful Arrest and Sentence – Prolific Shoplifter

Dear Residents,

I wanted to update you on recent action taken by the Safer Neighbourhood Team regarding a prolific shoplifter operating in the area.

On 24th February, officers arrested Antoine ETTIENNEfor two shopliftings and three breaches of his Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO). Notably, one of the thefts and one of the breaches were committed just 30 minutes before SNT officers located and arrested him.

He was charged and remanded in custody. At court on 25th February, he pleaded guilty to all offences and received a sentence of 24 weeks’ imprisonment.

This is a positive result for the community and demonstrates our commitment to tackling persistent offenders who impact local businesses and residents.
